Watch the Candidate Forums

The League of Women Voters hosted Candidate Forums for City Council candidates and School Board candidates. These forums are now available online and on Bloomington TV (channels 14 or 859). They are a great opportunity for voters to get to know the candidates better and hear their answers to questions submitted by Bloomington voters.

  1. See who’s on your ballot at https://myballotmn.sos.state.mn.us/

  2. As you watch the City Council Candidate Forum, consider not just your first choice but also your second and third choices since you’ll be able to rank the candidates on your ballot.

  3. As you watch the School Board Candidate Forum, remember you can vote for up to four candidates using the traditional system (School Board elections will not use Ranked Choice Voting).

City Council Candidate Forums

There are three City Council Candidate Forums - At-Large, District 3 and District 4. All three forums are in one video:

  • District 4 - Starting at 1:13:00, candidates Patrick Martin (incumbent), Angella Coil and Becky Strohmeier participated (Victor Rivas was invited, responded positively but did not participate)

School Board Candidate Forum
