Public Hearing about Ranked Choice Voting

The Bloomington Charter Commission will hold a public hearing about Ranked Choice Voting during their special meeting on Thursday, June 11. The meeting starts at 7pm, and RCV is the only item on the agenda.

How to Provide Public Comment/Testimony

  1. Call in During the Meeting

    • The most effective way to voice your support is by calling in to the meeting on Thursday night. (This is because emails and voicemails likely won't be read/played during the meeting.)

    • Because of COVID-19, the meeting is via phone. When you call in, you’ll be on hold and muted until it’s your turn to speak. You will be able to hear the meeting on your phone while you are on hold.

  2. Email or Voicemail - If you’re not able to call in during the meeting, you must submit your comments by voicemail or email by 2pm on Thursday - the sooner, the better.

Please let us know that you will testify and we will provide detailed instructions.
