The Feb. 25 Precinct Caucus is a great opportunity to build support for Ranked Choice Voting (RCV)! Caucuses are run by the political parties, and attendees support candidates, as well as present issues/ideas for the party to support (which could become part of the party platform). More info about caucuses here.
Are you attending a caucus for the first time or need a refresher? Join us as we give an overview of what to expect and answer questions you have. You’ll leave this training ready to present two RCV resolutions (one for Bloomington local elections and one for state-level RCV support), collect signatures of supporters, and become a delegate to your senate district convention (if you want).
Working together, we can ensure that RCV, which is a core part of several party platforms, becomes a top priority conversation in the races for legislative and presidential offices.
Note: This training event is casual, it might not last until 8pm. Feel free to leave before 8pm if you need to.
Other Caucus Training Events
If you’re not able to attend this training, there are several other Caucus Training events - one in Minnetonka on Feb. 20 and others in Savage and St. Paul listed at the bottom of this page.
