City Council Meeting

During their meeting on Monday, July 27, the Bloomington City Council will vote on putting Ranked Choice Voting (RCV) on this year’s ballot for Bloomington voters. The city council meeting starts at 7pm, and RCV will be discussed under item 5 on the agenda.

There’s some confusion about whether the city council will take public testimony regarding RCV before they vote. If so, we need supporters to be ready to call in! When you call in, you’ll be placed on hold and will be able to hear the meeting while you wait to speak.

How to call in

  1. Call 1-866-873-0999, conference ID 8488027

  2. Tell the operator your name, that you live in Bloomington, and are calling about Agenda Item #8.7 Timed Item: Ranked Choice Voting Ballot Question.

  3. You will be placed on hold and your line muted until you are invited to speak. You’ll be able to hear the meeting while you’re on hold.
